Tie Rod Hydraulic Cylinders, Up To 2500 PSI

Application Note Long stroke cylinders have lower full extension ratings to prevent excessive column loading (buckling of shaft). See tables. Maximum pushing load suggested with a minimum safety factor of 2. Column load data is based on a pin-to-pin mounting calculation.
Maximum Operating Pressure 2500 PSI.
Note ASAE cylinders (2” to 4” bore) have threaded shaft to accept optional mechanical stroke control. Cylinder rod end port (just one port) is inline with pin unless noted otherwise, blind end is double ported and is assembled inline with pin (unless noted otherwise).
TR2.5 Series Features 1045 cast steel clevises, 65-45-12 ductile iron cast head, Ductile iron piston, Heavy duty Grade 8 (100,000 psi yield piston nut torqued to specifications and held with thread/locker sealant, Double-acting piston seal with single-acting capabilities, Double lip U-cup seal single acting on rod. Special snap-in type wiper seals, specially designed to prevent exterior contamination and moisture ingress; Molded ribs provide extra stability to the seal and help prevent pressure trapping. Induction hardened, chrome plated rods, 90 hrs minimum on ASTM B117-02 procedure salt spray tests. 100% tested. All cylinders are submitted to static and dynamic pressure tests to recommended specifications.
